Enhance

Enhance is the set of on-demand AI actions in Cognardo Workbench: Optimize, Compare Across LLMs, Rewrite Tone, Explain, and Web Summary, each running on a prompt or a response and drawing from the same credit pool. This section covers what each action does, where to reach it, and the progress, cancel, and credit mechanics that every one of them shares.

How Enhance works#

  • Every action shows its cost up front: Optimize is 2 credits, Compare Across LLMs is 5, and Explain, Web Summary, and Rewrite Tone are 1 credit each. The control always shows the cost before you run it.
  • Credits gate it, not your plan: Any plan can run any Enhance action, as long as the credit balance covers it — there is no plan-tier lock the way conversation export has.
  • The floater and the sidebar reach the same catalog: Enhance actions are available from the sidebar's Enhance tab and from the floater's quick actions, on the chat platforms and the wider web alike.
  • Progress streams live: A progress overlay shows the real response as it generates, not a spinner, and every action can be cancelled while it runs.

Where to next#

Optimize and Rewrite Tone both work on saved prompts, covered in Prompts & Sequences. Explain and Web Summary also run on ordinary web pages, covered in Scratchpads on non-LLM pages. The credit pool itself, and where to check what remains, is covered in Account settings.
